My son is autistic, non-speaking, and requires special care when it comes to medical and dental procedures. He has been under Dr. Elmore’s care multiple times over the past few years, and every single experience has been absolutely amazing. Dr. Elmore has been so kind, patient, compassionate, and understanding every step of the way. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure my son is comfortable and receives the very best care. As a special-needs mom, finding providers you can completely trust with your child is priceless, and I am so incredibly thankful that we found her. Mr. Tyler is absolutely amazing, Andrea is wonderful, and honestly, the entire team deserves recognition. Every anesthesiologist we have encountered has been so kind, caring, and attentive. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure my son is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. And the dental work itself? TOP NOTCH! My preteen’s teeth look absolutely amazing, and I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Elmore, thank you for treating my son with so much kindness, patience, dignity, and genuine care. You have made what could be an incredibly stressful experience so much easier for our family. Dr. Elmore es una dentista exepcinal, especialmente con niños de necesidades especiales. Mi hijo tiene autismo y sindrome de Down, asi que no es facil encontrar a dentistas que trabajen bien con estos niños. La Dr. Elmore tambien tiene un niño con autismo asi que sabe como tratarlos. Si necesitan, puede hacer el trabajo dental bajo anestecia en el hospital. Ella es una doctora que se preocupa por sus pacientes.

My 4 year old girl has been terrified of the dentist. She has not been complaining about pain but for the past 6 months her eating habits were terrible. She finally was able to have X-rays taken, and we were confirmed that she had cavities in her molars. The entire staff at this hospital is amazing and so caring! Dr. Elmore talked me through the entire procedure and answered all my questions. After surgery, almost immediately my daughter had her appetite back to the way it was 6 months prior. She even said that it feels all better. Thank you Dr. Elmore for seeing us so quickly and doing an extraordinary job and making my little girl feel so much better and taking away the fear of dentists. She really enjoyed everyone there that attended to her. Thank you so much.

We had a great experience with Dr. Elmore and her staff. Dr. Elmore took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable and confident in the care my daughter received. Highly recommended! Also wanted to thank Andrea! Due to a reaction my daughter had after a prior surgery with a different provider, I had a lot of concerns and needed to submit some extra paperwork. Andrea was amazing with communicating through each step of that process. I really appreciated everything she did to help!

Dr Elmore is absolutely fantastic. She is so compassionate towards the children. You can tell she truly cares, and loves the children. She is passionate about dental care and she even called after 9pm to check up on my child after the surgery. It’s sad that Florida dental care is so bad and we rank almost last in dental health and also access to dental care for those in poverty. If you don’t have dental insurance it is quite difficult to get help and if you are a Medicaid recipient only 15% of dentist in Florida are providers. Poor dental health is an epidemic in Florida and we have to find a way to fight for affordable and accessible dental care for all Floridians as dental health is the gateway to ALL bodily health. Women with rotten teeth are 11x more likely to get breast cancer, these are statistics that can be looked up yet dental health is treated as separate than health care. There is no reason that young children have to be put under general anesthesia due to only having Medicaid and being relegated to very far out appointments or hearing “we don’t take Medicaid” at every dental office they call. Also although Dr. Elmore is fantastic, there are others who see our sick children as a income opportunity for them. I had the displeasure of having a man, who my child called Santa Clause( he was handing out the lunch gift cards), tell me while my child was laying there getting prepped for surgery “thanks for keeping me in a job” with a devious giggle. I was disgusted but it wasn’t the time or place for me to rip him a new one. Just remember that we have to do our best for preventative care because some people aren’t afraid to admit sick people are GOOD FOR BUSINESS. God bless you all.

Dr. Elmore is God sent she really did a phenomenal job I feel so grateful for the work she did on my daughter. Between the nurses before and during surgery to post op they were constantly communicating with me informing me step by step procedures and I felt super comfortable. It was my daughter’s first time ever being in surgery and I thought I was going to be scared or crying and it was the complete opposite I had so much peace. My daughter has a beautiful smile again and it’s all because of Dr.Elmore thank you so much.

I dont have enough characters for all the flowers Dr Elmor deserves. She always goes above and beyond for each child and she remembers each one! It amazes me to see someone so personable to my son. She always showers all her patients not just my son who is autistic with gifts i love that. I tell her everytime i dont knownwhy you wont do other stuff you are beyond amazing. Surgery is always the scariest for us as parents and she makes sure we know what my son needs as he is non verbal currently. If you struggle finding a dental surgeon this is the place and yhey have several dentists howeveelr she really truly is the best and gets straight to the point no cutting corners so we are IN and OUT! Thank you thank you and i hope you see many more years in your profession..

This was the best experience we have ever had with an oral surgeon. Doctor Elmore and the nurses were amazing from the time of scheduling the consultation, checking in with us to see my son’s comfort and pain level while waiting for the appointment. The morning of the office was clean, informative, helpful, and so kind. Everyone was very clear on what to expect and made sure my 4 year old was as comfortable as possible. They created a care package with stuffed animals, snacks, drinks for my son and his siblings! My son was up the next day eating and drinking as if he did not just have surgery. He was happy and comfortable from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We were aware of where he was at all times and what step of the process he was in whether in surgery or recovering, waking up, etc. the doctor came out and showed us photos, explained what was done and after care. 10/10 experience!!!! Thank you!!
